That Tuesday at the L.A Hot Rods training centre most of the team were already there. They were all above 6 feet tall and the tallest was 6'8. They were practicing for tomorrows game.
"Hey I've heard we've just signed a new player," said one of the women.
"What's new?" replied the tallest one.
"I've heard she's huge, even bigger than you."
"Impossible I've never met a woman taller than me since I was 12."
Then the Bruce the head coach came onto the court.
"Ladies as you all know we have a new team member starting with us today," said Bruce. "So I want you to give an L.A Hot Rods' welcome to Mary.
With that Mary came onto the court. The other women almost fell over at seeing how tall Mary was.
"Err hello," said Mary.
"Wow your huge!" shouted one of the women.
"Please don't remind me."
"Just how tall are you?"
"Just under 8 feet tall."
Then the tallest woman walked up to her.
"Ok then Mary show us what you've got." She passes Mary a basketball.
She then dribbles down the court and does a slam dunk without jumping.
"How's that then?" asked Mary.
"Wow that was incredible."
"You'll like it even more when I do it against the other team tomorrow night."
