The Ambulance came on time thankfully. It didn't come a moment too soon. Mary was on the verge of giving birth. She was in more and more pain. The paramedics quickly got her into the ambulance. When they did the baby started to come out. Ted held her hand the entire time.
"Ok push," said the Paramedic. Mary pushes as hard as she could. "You're doing great. Now push." She did again. "I can see the head. One more push will do it." Mary pushed one more time and the baby came out. She was in the paramedic's arms and he cut off the biblical cord. then he gave her to Mary. "Congradulations ma'am it's a girl."
"She's beautiful," said Ted.
"How could a baby so beautiful come out of a woman like me?" asked Mary.
"Well you are a beautiful woman. What do you think we should call her?"
"I was kinda fond with the name Gwen."
"That's a lovely name. Our daughter's name is Gwen."
