The game went perfectly for Mary. She scored more baskets than anyone else on the team. She wasn't a ball hog either, she passed the ball plenty of times so she was still a team player. This was the first time Gwen had seen her super tall mother play basketball.
After the game we see Ted waiting in the car. He has Gwen in her baby seat behind the driver seat. Now the passenger seat had been taken out to fit Mary's unthinkable long legs.
Mary herself was just signing some autographs for her fans. When she had finished she carried her bag to the car. She opens the car trunk and puts it in. Then she goes and gets into the car as best as she could.
"Hi honey," said Ted.
Mary then kisses him. "Hi Ted." She then turns towards Gwen. "And how's my little girl." Gwen holds out her arms towards her. So Mary takes her out of her baby seat and then starts to hug her.
