The next day back at school we see Gwen in class. She was forced to sit at the back of the room. Anyone behind her wouldn't have been able to see the board.
It was a English lesson. Gwen enjoyed this subject because it was the one she was best at. She would write short stories which she planned on publishing when she was older.
But what really got her attention was that she was sitting behind Dan Derbyshire. Sometimes she would just sit there and day dream about them having a relationship. But the teacher would always pop her bubble.
"Gwen what was Shakespeare's last major play?" asked Gwen's Middle aged Teacher.
She really had to think quick. "Err Macbeth."
"Yes very good Miss Walters."
The Teacher continued with the lesson. Gwen went back to day dreaming. But she did pay some attention to the class. She would hear the girls whispering to each other about him and how much of a freak she was. She just blocked these out and tried to get on with her life.
