That night we see Gwen at home in her room with her sowing machine. We see her sowing a large black dress. She was good at sowing but she thought it was the only thing she was good at. When she was sowing she could forget all her troubles, all her stresses and for a short time she felt at peace.
"Gwen dinner's ready," said Ted from downstairs.
"Coming Daddy," replied Gwen.
She then put her half finished dress on the side and she stood up. She walked downstairs into the kitchen and sat in chair. Ted then bought her over some spaghetti and meatballs.
"Your favourite angel."
"Thanks."
The portion was bigger than average but Gwen was a bigger than average girl. She began to eat her dinner. Ted was an excellent cook but he didn't want to do it as a profession. he only did it for fun.
It took Gwen ten minutes to eat the whole meal and she was full. She then put the plate in the dishwasher and went back up to her room.
