When Gwen got to her job at the retirement home it was lunch time for the old people. They needed their meals and she helped to take them out to them. The Old people liked having her around because she had a heart of gold.
She was giving out some food when she felt something strange go through her entire body. She instantly recognised it as the feeling she had had when she grew last night.
She felt herself grow a few inches and she instantly went to a closet. She was scared, even more than last night. She knew that if she grew out of the building the old people would be at serious risk of being crushed.
By the time she got there she was 9 feet tall. She sat down so that she ahd some more room door her rapidly growing body.
"Come on Gwen," she thought to herself. "Think small."
Gwen began to think small but she was running out of room in the closet. She started to really panic.
Just as the poor girl lost hope she began to shrink until she was her normal tall self. She gave out a sigh of relief.
"That was close."
