Her favourite reality show was on and she sat and watched it. It was about some people who had to set up their own hotel in the middle of nowhere. She liked to see them arguing with each other but she didn't want to be any violence.
A little later Ted came back with his shopping. He had bought back some food that he was gonna cook that night. He was greeted with a hug from his super tall daughter.
"Hi Gwen how was your day at the Old Folk's home?" asked Ted.
"It went well," replied Gwen.
"Did you have anymore growth spurts?"
"No not one." She lied about this because she didn't want to worry him.
"Oh good maybe you're getting it under control better. But for now let me start dinner."
Ted took his food into the kitchen and he began to cook it. Gwen could smell the sweet smell of his cooking and she looked forward to eating it. She felt bad about lying to him. But for now it was for the best.
Eventually dinner was ready and the pair ate it in the kitchen. But Gwen felt a shiver run down her spine.
