"Please stop screaming," said Gwen. "I'm not here to hurt you. I'm here to help you." The man still screamed and she thought that it was best for her to put him back on the ground.
When he got there he instantly ran away from her. This made her feel even worse. The very person she saved still thought that she was some kind of freak. But her sadness was quickly broken by a disturbing sound.
Gwen turned around and she could see helicopters coming towards her. She could tell that they were military helicopters and she dreaded to think about what they were gonna do when they got there.
She began to run away. She shrank a little so that she was lower than the buildings. When she got to a certain distance from them she shrank down to her normal height.
She had gotten rid of the military helicopters but her troubles were just beginning. Now everyone knew about her powers and she couldn't deny them any longer. But she saw an upside to it. Maybe someone could train her to use her powers so that she didn't get the random growth spurts.
