They drove out into the desert a few miles away from the city. All through the journey Gwen was afraid. A few times she nearly freaked but she was able to stay calm.
Eventually they reach a large building. It looked like some sort of Government building. The car stopped by the entrance. The man who had seen her first turned to her.
"Ok Gwen this is where we get off," he said.
The floor opened and he left and Gwen followed. They went inside the building. The first thing she saw was a large window into a large open room. There she saw many other teens her age. Each had different powers and she was amazed to see it.
"Wow what is this place?" asked Gwen.
"This is where young people with unusual powers train to use their abilities."
"So you guys want me to stay here?"
"Only until you can fully control your powers."
"But before we start anything can I just call my Dad? He's probably wondering where I am."
"There's a phone by the entrance. Five minutes no more."
Gwen then goes to the phone and calls home.
