Gwen couldn't see anything. She was getting scared and she wanted the darkness to go away. To her relief the darkness did go away and the light came back. She saw that she was still in her room and Elizabeth was still in her room.
"What did you just do?" asked Gwen.
"My power is that I can create and control darkness," replied Elizabeth. "Don't worry I'm not a dark person. But like you I'm still struggling to control my powers from time to time."
"Well at least if you lose control of your powers you won't grow through the roof."
"But an entire area would be in complete darkness."
"How did you get your powers?"
"My father was a scientist. He subjected me some experiments and this gave me my powers. He wanted me to use them to rob banks and places like that. But I didn't want to. Eventually the F.B.I. got him and he's in jail. And they sent me here to control my powers. So how did you get yours?"
"I have my mom to thank for that. She made some sort of wish to be able to make herself bigger. It came true and she could grow. She turned to basketball and rounded her height off at 7'10. Normally I would have been about 5'10. But because she was that tall when she gave birth to me I grew accordingly."
