Gwen and Elizabeth continued to look around the different people who were here. Gwen decided to take Cindy along with them. She picked her up and put her on her shoulder. Cindy was very comfortable on Gwen’s shoulder.
The other people they saw had all different kinds of powers. Gwen saw the one that could project light like Elizabeth had told her. She also saw a guy who was running a marathon in a minute without being tired.
But there were some that she felt sympathy towards. There was one guy who could only breathe underwater and he could breathe on the surface. There was a girl had the ability to change the colour of her skin to match her background. The problem was that she couldn’t switch it off.
“Wow some of these guys are pretty unlucky,” said Gwen.
“I know just look at Cindy,” replied Elizabeth.
“Yeah you should have seen what happened to me,” added Cindy. “I was nearly food for a microbe. A God Damn microbe.” Then she looked at Gwen a little more. “I recognise your face from somewhere.”
