“Well my Mother only a little shorter than me,” replied Gwen. “She was a basketball player and she could also get bigger like I could. But she wished to have the ability. I just inherited it off her when I was born.”
“Hmm I see you your like your mother. Where is she now?”
“She’s dead. A car hit her when she saved a kid. I miss her everyday. I was still a baby when she died.”
“So you haven’t really had a mother figure?”
“No I guess not.”
“So you’ve had to look up to your father.”
“For a time yeah but that was until I left elementary school. I outgrew him by then. But he’s been the only parent I’ve had. He alone raised and supported me.”
“Did he ever talk much about your mother?”
“Not really no. Once I asked him if I had a mommy. He told me that she was flying with the angels. I even asked her when she’d be back.” By now Gwen was crying. Dr Singh gave her a tissue and she blew her nose with it. “Thank you.”
“Ok I need to know has anything happened at school?”
