"Well it was at the school Prom where my powers manifested," said Gwen. "I was always taunted for being a foot and a half taller than everyone else. There were some girls who made my life hell. But when it came to Prom night I got really angry at them and then I just grew and grew."
"How big did you get?" replied Dr Singh.
"I don't know. I grew right out of the building. Everyone except my date ran away from me. I felt like a freak. But my date stayed with me. That made me feel good inside."
"Why so?"
"Because even though I'd become a giant and almost destroyed everything. There was still someone who cared about me."
"Was the growth intentional?"
"No it was by accident. When I first grew I was just as surprised as everyone else. I'm still recovering from it."
"Hmm it seems that you're afraid of yourself. You fear that your powers will go out of control and you'll hurt your friends. But that's what this centre is for. To teach you how to ue your powers. When you complete this you won't hurt anyone."
