Soon Cindy was small enough to get into thelock. She unlocked the book and it came open for them. Gwen started to look through a book. It had all of the exercises needed to make sure that the body was in tip top shape for growing. What she didn’t know was that changing size really puts a strain on the body. It was a particularly dangerous super-power to the human body. This worried her a little but see read on and it recommended that she would take small spurts so to minimise the risk of her skeleton collapsing on her.
“Wow have you read this?” asked Gwen.
“No why?” replied Elizabeth.
“Well I’ve just found out how dangerous my powers are to me. If I grow too big too soon it’ll make my skeleton crumble into dust.”
“Wow that’s harsh. I’ve read that giving out too much darkness will make the place go dark for hours.”
Both girls then looked at Cindy. She was still at a shrunken state on the bed. She looked up at her friends.
“Well I’ve been told that if I shrink too small I mean really really really small I won’t be able to breath the air. My lungs will be too small for the molecules.”
“So all of our powers have their downsides,” said Gwen. “We’ll have to try and remember that.”
