"No they're not a gift they're a curse," said Vanessa. "Even here if I got too close to too many people my powers would go crazy. You saw what happened earlier."
"You just need to learn how to control your powers," replied Gwen. "That's why everyone else is here."
"Is this really the best place for people like us?"
"Yes it's perfect. There is no where better to learn how to control your powers. How did you get yours?"
"Well my Dad was a scientist and he used to experiment on me a little. Nothing inhumane or anything. He was happy to see that my powers were blossoming. How did you get yours?"
"I get it from my mother. Before my parents were even married they went to this bar where people can make wishes. My mother wished to be able to change her size. At first my father didn't believe it would happen. But it did happen. She used her powers to increase her height so she could become a basketball player. Eventually my parents had me and my mother died soon afterwards."
"I'm sorry Gwen."
"It's alright because I know that she's in a better place."
