"Well the longer you stay here the more you'll learn to control your powers," said Cindy.
"That's easy for you to say," replied Vanessa. "I've seen you use your powers easily. You can control yours."
"Only by being here. When I first came I almost shrank to a microscopic size. It took everything I had left to become big again."
"Could you see microbes?"
"Yes I could but they were the size of bugs to me. But they were growing fast until I regained control of my body."
"I bet that was terrifying."
"It was. After that day I didn't want to use my powers again. But eventually I got over it and now I use them openly. Watch this." She the concentrated and she shrank to the size of a doll. She climbed onto the table and started to eat her lunch. "See at this size my lunch lasts longer."
"Can I try?"
"Yeah well since you have my powers just think small."
"Ok I'll try."
Vanessa then began to concentrate and she began to shrink like Cindy.
