It was the next visiting day and it was the day Ted said he would bring in his new girlfriend. Gwen was so nervous, either she would love Gwen for who she was, or she would secretly hate her for her height and her powers.

"I am soo nervous," said Gwen, "what if she doesnt like me?"

"It's fine, she'll like you, besides Ted would never marry someone who didnt love everyone in his family, including you." said Carly. It had been about an hour, Gwen had dressed up in a white top and long white skirt to look formal, she didnt care if her arms showed, she was meeting her future mother. Ted walked in the door and behind him was Shelby. She was about 5'8'', not really that tall. She was dirty blond, had green eyes, was in a red top and jeans, and seemed very nice.

"Hi Gwen," said Shelby, "my name is Shelby, I'm dating your father. He is a very nice man.

"Thanks." said Gwen, she bent down for Shelby to hug her, she didnt seem to mind Gwen being nearly 3 feet taller than her. They all talked for a while, all three of them, then Gwen was willing to tell Shelby about her powers.

"Shelby, i want to tell you something, I have.."

"Special growing powers," she said, "your father told me th ewhole story, about Mary how you got your powers, I understand and I dont mind that you can grow at all." Gwen almost cried at how happy she was that Shelby accepted her for her powers and her height, this was the perfect mother for her.
