A few minutes later everyone was getting ready for the next fight in the round. It was Elizabeth’s turn to step up to the arena. But this round she was going to be at a disadvantage. Her next opponent was Matt. He had super human senses. He was also blind so her powers wouldn’t do much damage.
Eventually it was time for the fight. Both Elizabeth and Matt went to the arena and they looked at each other. Well she looked at Matt while he just stared into nothingness.
“So you’re Matt,” said Elizabeth.
“And you’re Elizabeth,” replied Matt. “The darkness girl who isn’t dark inside. A pleasure to fight you in this round.”
“May the best person win.”
The bell rang and the pair began to get themselves ready a little. Elizabeth filled the arena with darkness. She just hoped that this would do something to help her. But sadly she was wrong.
The first thing she felt was a punch hit her in the face. She was slowly able to get back onto her feet. But Matt was already there waiting for her to come back up. He was sorry for what he was doing.
"Hey I'm a girl. You can't do that."
