Gwen and Cindy then hugged each other. Cindy was at the same height as Gwen so she made her friend feel somewhat normal. But when the hug was over Cindy increased her size back up to normal.
“Are you going to be alright here?” asked Cindy.
“Yeah I’ll be fine,” replied Gwen. “Hopefully my height will come back to me shortly. No pun intended.”
“I’m sure they will.”
Just then the door began to knock. Cindy had to grow a little so she could reach the door handle (Everything was at a scale for Gwen’s normal height). When she opened it she saw that it was Samantha. She let the tall girl in and she looked down at Gwen. She felt sorrow for her.
“Gwen I am so sorry that this happened,” said Samantha.
“Don’t worry the doctors say that I’ll recover. When I will is anyone’s guess.”
“There’s no hard feelings right?”
“Sure there isn’t.”
“We were all going to go out and get a smoothie? Do you want to come?”
“No thanks. Things will look too strange to me.”
