It was still how she remembered it. She more or less instantly went to her room and she saw all of her stuffed toys on the bed. She picked up one particular bear and gave it a really big hug. She felt like a child again.
“Sunshine bear,” she said.
“You used to love that bear,” replied Ted.
“I do because you bought it me.”
“Well it was the best thing to do at the time. Besides I can’t wait for you to meet Tina. She’ll never get over you.”
“Won’t she freak out a little?”
“Maybe but she’s always surprising me. It’s about time I did the same.” He began to giggle a little.
“Don’t be cruel Dad.”
“I’ve already told her that you were a little taller then most girls your age. I just didn’t tell her how tall.”
“Ok Daddy.”
“That’s my girl.”
