After all the jobs were done it was getting late. Gwen was a little tired from full day’s work. She gave her Grandma one more big hug before Ted came to pick her up. She then said her goodbyes to her Grandma and she went into the car.
“Hi princess,” said Ted.
“Hi Daddy,” replied Gwen.
“How did it go?”
“It went great. I feel like Grandma and I bonded a little more today. Plus I got all the work done.”
“That’s what I like to hear.”
“So how was your day?”
“It wasn’t too bad. Not too good but not too bad.”
“So mediocre?”
“Yeah pretty much. But I have to go into work tomorrow. Are you going to be alright in the house by yourself?”
“I’m a big girl now Daddy I can take care of myself.”
“Good.”
The pair continued on the ride back home.
