But then on the screen she could see that it was clearing up. She eagerly sat back in her chair and waited for her soaps to begin again. But instead she could see a head in black shadow. She couldn’t see the person’s face and it seemed to be live.
“Greetings everyone,” said the man in a crackled voice. “As you can see your TV stations aren’t exactly working right now.”
“Daddy I think you should come in here,” said Gwen.
“Is it important?” replied Ted.
“Yes.”
Ted then came into the room and he saw the man on the screen. He could see that Gwen was very worried.
“I am more then willing to give you back your TV waves,” said the Man. “But at a price. Ten billion dollars. If I have that money then you can watch your shows again. But defy me then you’ll never find out what happened to Suzy in Broadway and all those other crappy shows you watch. The choice is yours.”
He then went off the screen and it returned it its fuzzy screen. Gwen was in some disbelief about this.
