As Ted walked into the garage, Pa came down into the garage, holding a shotgun.
"Easy there, it's just me." Ted said, trying to calm down the old man.
"Oh? It's good to see you, I thought there was an earthquake or something."
"No, it's just Mary, she just grew to 10 feet."
"Okay then boy, have fun." Said Pa, questioning how sane Ted was.
"Alrighty then, I will. Go back to sleep Pa" Pa went back to bed, mumbling how he was a little on the crazy side of things. But Ted didn't care. He got the ladder, but there was a probelm. It was one of those little ones that you use to reach the top cabinet.

Walking outside, Ted went to a waiting Mary. "I won't be able to reach you!" He bellowed up, showing her the ladder.
"Hmph. Well then, I'll just have to get closer to the ground." she did, and Ted was able to see her face, which had changed in beauty. But as they were admiring each other, somebody approached them.
