John ordered a prawn cocktail for his starter and Tabitha ordered the soup of the day. She was a big girl now and she needed her food. This is one thing that John admired about his girlfriend.
"This is nice," said John.
"What did you expect?" asked Tabitha. "This is where the celebrities go for their dinners."
"How can we afford these prices though?"
"Don't worry about that I'll pay the legal way."
"Hopefully it won't cost too much."
The starters came and the pair began to eat away. It was delicious and they soon ordered the main course meals. John had roast beef while Tabitha had chicken. They both came warm and they looked very delicious.
Just before Tabitha could tuck into her main course she heard screams outside. She got up and went over to the window. She saw a jewellery shop robbery. She wanted to stay and have the dinner but she would never live with herself if anyone got hurt.
She quickly went back to the table.
