The actors did a good performance. Although one or two of them forgot their lines from time to time it was normal for most people.
A little later outside Harold and Tabitha were walking back to the house. It was a warm night and people were still around. But it was getting close to midnight and they wanted to get home.
“Well we’ll have to get to bed soon,” said Harold. “We don’t want to be late for church tomorrow morning.”
“Church?” replied Tabitha.
“Of course. You do go to church right?”
Tabitha thought about it for a while. She thought that he would think less of her if she said no.
“Yeah I go to church.”
“Good. Now I’ll tell the servants to wake us up tomorrow morning.”
When the pair got home they went up to their separate rooms. Tabitha removed her dress and put on some night wear. She couldn’t stop thinking about going to church. She hadn’t been to a Sunday service for years.
