“No I’m not having it,” replied Tabitha. “You can have it. I’m alright like this I promise you.” She tried to smile but it didn’t seem to work.
“No at least I can still fit into buildings. You can’t.”
“That doesn’t matter. As your mother it’s my job to protect you where ever and however I can.”
“But this isn’t about protecting me. You need to be normal. Then you can go out and fight crime again. People need you. Not many people need me.”
Tabitha couldn’t believe what she was hearing from her daughter. But deep down she knew that she was right. She put her hand by the scientist and he put the cure onto her hand. She then put it into her mouth and swallowed.
“Thank you Emily,” said Tabitha.
She then concentrated and she began to shrink. In seconds she was back down to her normal height. She gave out a sigh of relief.
“You’re normal,” replied Emily.
“But you’re still 8 feet tall,” replied Tabitha.
“I can live with that.”
