Rose had fled to the forest regions of the north. There weren't many humans up there so she thought she would be safe. The area itself was very beautiful and she respected that. The trees were the same height as her so she knew she would be well hidden. The animals sensed her good heart and they weren't afraid of her. In turn she ate the fruit that grew in the forest instead of the animals.
She was there alone for about a week until one day she saw something. Or well someone for that matter. She found a human. It was a man but it looked like he had been living wild for years. But not all his life. He wore some trousers but hey were all tattered. he didn't have any other clothes. He had long black hair and an over grown beard. He was feasting on a a deer he had killed. Rose approached him with caution.
"Hello?" she said.
He almost automatically turned around and gazed up at the beautiful giantess. "Who are you?" he asked.
"At least you speak English. My name is Rose. And what is your name?"
"I don't know. No one has called me by my name for so long I've forgotten."
"Ok." Rose then picks up and rests him in her palm. "I may as well give you a name. Hoe does James sound to you?"
