"And I will bring you back," said Mariko.
Rose looked at James. For the first time she saw sadness in his eyes. A tear rolled down her cheek.
"Well James," said Rose. "Looks like you've got your connection to civilisation after all."
"What are you saying?" asked James.
"You need to go with her. You won't be happy with me here. You married Mariko for a reason so go with her."
She put him on the ground. "Now go."
Mariko grabbed his arm. "Come on we've got a lot of traveling to do."
They both walk away from Rose. She waves at them. "Remember everything I taught you."
James waved back. But in a few minutes the pair was out of sight. Rose had a moment of happiness but yet again it was dashed away from her. All she could do was sit down and cry her heart out.
