As the weeks went by Rose felt very lonely. She had no one now. Even the animals were afraid of her. She didn't know why but it made her feel empty inside.
She kept going through the memories of James and Mariko in her mind. She knew something wasn't right with her. But she couldn't put her finger on it. She felt like James was in some kind of trouble. She wanted to go and search for him but if she left the forest there would have been a good chance she would have been seen and then the humans would try and kill her.
She waited until it was night. Then she left the safety of the forest and started on her search for her beloved James.
