Rose and James ignored Mariko and continued to walk away. Before any additional armies came she had already gone.
Rose walked the long journey back to their forest. They would stop to eat and rest on the way but they loved being together again. She felt whole again now that he was back.
It took her three days to get back to the forest. It seemed a little strange being back with all the trees and animals around. On Rose's journey there was a lot more room and she barely saw any animals. She was glad to see them again.
James wanted to hunt some more animals but Rose told him that he could hunt them but not kill them. James had little choice but to agree.
