A week went by and the giantesses didn't see anything of this hunter. They kept the men safe and away from danger. Although Rose's James was more than capable of defending himself. Charlotte's James on the other hand didn't have that technique.
Meanwhile in the bushes we see a shadowed figure watching the giantesses. He was armed to the teeth with swords, bows and arrows. He was experienced in killing giants of all sizes. But these giantesses were amongst the biggest he would have to kill. The men with them in his mind deserved to die for being romantically involved with giants.
The giantesses remained oblivious to the threat near them. They just had fun with each other and talked about different things.
Rose's James was allowed to go into the woods to hunt for his own satisfaction. This was alright as long as he didn't kill whatever he caught.
James went into the woods and was silent. He would hide in bushes until an animal came near him. But this time he didn't see any animals but a hunter. He saw the hunter pointing an arrow at his beloved.
Without hesitation James jumped out of the bush and attacked the hunter.
