By the time the three of them woke up they felt refreshed. The storm had also blown over so now it was relatively safe to climb up the mountain.
Gemma made sure that the Jameses were safe on her shoulder and then she started her long climb up the mountain.
The mountain was cold to the touch and a few times her hand almost froze onto the mountain. But she couldn't let the cold stop her from saving her friend.
The group were interested in how a flower could grow in such harsh conditions. They just thought that maybe the flower was used to the environment it was living in like most plants and animals.
The Jameses had to keep a lookout for this flower. Gemma couldn't see any colour so her sight would be useless to them. Her whole world was black and white.
But it was dark up in the mountain. Since giants didn't see colours their night vision was better than a normal human's. She could still see clearly even in the darkest of nights.
"Are you guys alright there?" she asked.
"We're fine," replied Charlotte's James. "Just a little cold."
"Can you see anything?"
