They didn't have any meat because they didn't want to kill any of the wildlife.
It took them a few minutes to get everything ready but when they did there was food fit for a king. But first everyone wanted to say a little something before they started eating.
"We'll eat this food in celebration of our friend's recovery from a near fatal disease," said Gwen. "We will cherish the rest of our days because each one could be our last."
They then began to eat the food. Each one had an equal share. The men also had a little. They had enough to keep them full for a while. They had also collected some water to drink and they put it in a bowl that they had made themselves.
After twenty minutes there was nothing left of the food. It had all been eaten and everyone was relaxing. Charlotte and Rose were playing a little with their men and the giantesses looked up at the night sky.
"Beautiful," said Charlotte. "Who would have thought that I could have died on such a beautiful night?"
"Well that's life for you honey," replied James.
