A few weeks past and things were going well for the giantesses. They were living healthily and their impact on the area wasn't major. The food was growing back as fast as they ate it. They weren't polluting the area. They merely lived there in harmony.
But one day there were high winds in the area where they lived. It was hurricane speeds and it was strong enough to knock any of the giantesses off their feet. Trees were being toppled over but the wind's strength and many innocent animals met their end.
We see the giantesses in a low area. They were sitting down on the ground where the wind's strength was at it's lowest. They were freezing cold and they kept the men close to them to keep them warm.
"How long is this hurricane going to last?" asked Rose. "At this rate there'll be nothing left."
"It'll last as long as it does," replied Gemma. "All we can do is sit here and wait for it to blow over."
"That might take a while. But at least we're safe here for now."
"But we still need to get food and water," replied Charlotte.
