Meanwhile Gemma was having difficult time trying to find a job. They were either taken or they weren’t right for her. But then she stumbled on one that seemed to be perfect. It was five days a week and it was high pay with few hours. The only problem was that it was a dangerous job and each day could easily be your last in this one. It was mining for a rare but dangerous material.
Gemma knew the dangers but she took it anyway. She was given a briefing and where to go for the job. She was happy to get the job and she hurried along back to the house to tell everyone else. But when she got there only Charlotte and her James was there. They were having a little kiss when Gemma came in.
“Oh hi Gemma how did it go?” asked Charlotte.
“I got a job,” replied Gemma.
“Good what is it?”
“Garisium mining.”
Charlotte almost lost her breath. Garisium? You know how dangerous that stuff is.”
“I know but the money’s good and I don’t mind the risks.”
“I sure hope you do.”
