A few days later we see Rose in the fields with her James. He was getting some much needed exercise and she was there to make sure he wasn't in any danger. The grass itself was nearly as tall as he was.
"Ok little guy don't get yourself lost in the forest of grass," said Rose. She giggled a little but the Thing was in the bushes again. It was constantly staring at the pair. But they both didn't know it was there.
"Hey there's a mountain of a woman in front of me," said James.
"Hey I'm not that tall," replied Rose. She then paused for a moment. "In comparison to my species."
The pair laughed and James continued to go through the grass. But he eventually found himself in Rose's hand. She raised him up higher until he was at her level.
"Come on let's get back. I'm feeling a little peckish and I don't think you want wild little man on the menu." She then gave him a kiss.
But as the pair walked back to the house the Thing began to secretly follow them. It was deadly silent while it stalked them. They were completely oblivious to it's presence. This was one of it's deadly advantages over it's prey. It almost seemed too easy.
