"Are you alright Rose?" asked James.
"Yeah I'm fine," replied Rose. "I just need to rest a little. Are you alright?"
"Yes thanks to you. But where did you learn to do things like that?"
"Well I've been watching what you do. I knew that it would pay off eventually." She then raised him to her lips and she kissed him. "That's for knowing you're safe." She then slowly got to her feet. "Now let's get back home. Everyone is probably worried about us."
Rose then began to walk back to the house. She limped a little from her injuries but she just wanted to get home. She couldn't wait to tell everyone what happened. But she felt her leg a little and it still hurt her.
Eventually she reached the house. She limped her way inside and saw Gemma sitting down. Rose sat on the couch and put her feet up on it.
"Don't mind me," said Rose. "I'm a little hurt."
"What happened?" replied Gemma. "You weren't attacked for being a human lover?"
"No I fought this big creature. It did hurt me a little but I was able to protect little James."
