A little later they heard someone come through the door. Charlotte quickly hid James and she expected it to be her parents. But instead she saw Gwen. She gave out a sigh of relief.
"Oh it's only you," said Charlotte.
"What does that mean?" replied Gwen.
"It's nothing against you I was just expecting my parents here."
"Wow you're parents are coming. That's great."
"No it's not great they're bringing someone to marry me. I haven't told them I'm married to a human."
"Well just tell them and they'll understand."
"No not my parents. It was because of their constant degrading of humans I turned to our little group."
"Ok so what are we going to do?"
"I don't know I don't know."
"Maybe we should wait for the others to get back. They'll surely help you."
"Yeah they'll help me. But what if my parents find James? They'll kill him on the spot without a second thought."
