Charlotte and James had been looking for a while. They had seen a mountain range and a nice lake here. Charlotte decided to have a sit down by the lake. She looked at herself in the water. She smiled at herself.
"No one ever told me just how pretty I am," said Charlotte.
"No one likes Vanity," replied James.
"Well I don't do it too often. Besides you're really handsome too."
"Thanks."
Just then they saw something come out of the water. Charlotte could barely see it but James could see it quite easily. She wasn't sure whether it was friend or foe. She began to move James away.
"What is that?" asked Charlotte.
"That's a frog," replied James. "It won’t hurt us."
"Oh good."
Charlotte relaxed a little and she looked at the frog a little. She gently picked it up and she stroked it with her index finger.
"He's actually pretty cute," said Charlotte.
"But before you ask we can't keep him."
