The men then began to run away. The bear simply chased after them. Rose's James knew how to take down a bear from his time before he met Rose. But unfortunately he didn't have a stick so he couldn’t do it.
But the men's cries of fear could be heard from where the giantesses were. They began to panic a little at the thought of one of them getting hurt.
"That doesn't sound too well," said Gemma.
"Can we go in any deeper?" replied Charlotte.
"No we're way too big."
"Then are we helpless?"
"Well we can bring them into our loving arms when they're close enough to us."
"That looks like the only thing we can do."
They waited until the men reached them. They more or less instantly picked them up and brought them to a higher level so that they were safe from harm. They looked down and saw a bear.
"It's only a bear," said Rose. "In fact he's pretty cute."
"No he tried to hurt us," replied James.
"Ok I'll get rid of it."
