"We do this peacefully," said Rose. "Let’s just hope for the best and that their fear and anger doesn't overwhelm them."
The giantesses agreed but they put the men back into the cave for their own safety. The giantesses might be resistant to damage but they weren't. But when they went outside the mob stopped dead in their tracks.
"Please we don't want to fight you," said Charlotte.
"MONSTERS!" shouted a Random person.
"We are not monsters we're people just like you."
"A monster like you killed my brother."
"But it wasn't us. We've never killed anyone before. Why do you hate us when we bring nothing but peace? All we ask if we live in this cave in peace."
"YOU'RE A THREAT!"
"No we're not we'll even help your village out."
This got the people talking a little amongst themselves. They had never heard a giant willing to help them.
"Go on."
"If you let us stay here we'll help you with your construction and harvesting."
