The next day Charlotte decided to take James out a little. The fresh air and sunshine would do him some good. The others didn’t mind her doing this since they knew it was helping him out.
She found a nice hill to sit on and she rested her injured husband in her hand. She was being careful not to accidentally hurt him.
“Isn’t this nice?” asked Charlotte.
“Yeah it’s alright,” replied James.
“I think it’s more then alright. This is what you need to get you onto the path of recovery. We won’t be here too long anyway.”
“How long’s not too long?”
“About an hour or two.”
“Two hours?”
“You make it sound like it’s a long time. If you want to I can take you to see the others a little later.”
“That would be nice.”
Charlotte smiled at him and she gave him a little bit of food so that he wouldn’t complain that much.
