An hour later Charlotte gently picked up her normal sized husband and she walked towards the town. She could see the others working very hard. They decided to see Gemma who was working in the fields. She was happy to see them both coming and she temporarily stopped working.
“Hey Charlotte,” she said.
“Hey Gemma,” replied Charlotte. “How’s the working going for you? I bet it’s satisfactory.”
“I wish I work my ass off and they still don’t fully trust me. But they trust me a lot more then they used to.”
“That’s at least one step forwards.”
Gemma then turned her attentions to James. “And how are you today?”
“I’m feeling a little better thank you,” replied James. “We went on a picnic a few minutes ago.”
“At least you’re enjoying the weather.”
“But you seem to be working hard.”
“Yes very hard. The people here need me to harvest the crops before any rodents get to them.”
