“How much more work do you have to do?” asked Charlotte.
“I’ve just got to harvest this set of crops and then I’m free to have my break,” replied Gemma. “Is that alright with you guys?”
“Sure we can wait.”
Charlotte sat down with her James and they waited for Gemma to finish. When she did they went to a quiet place to be able to talk to each other properly.
“So how’s your day so far?” asked Gemma.
“We’re having a great day aren’t we James?” replied Charlotte.
“Sure,” answered James.
“And look how cute you look all bandaged up,” replied Gemma. “I would give you the world’s biggest hug. But I don’t want to hurt you anymore.”
“That’s very considerate thank you.”
They talked for a half an hour but then Gemma realised what time it was and she stood up. She began to walk away.
“Sorry to have to go but my break’s over,” said Gemma.
“Well we’ll see you this evening,” replied Charlotte.
“Bye.”
