"I don't know we could starve," said Rose.
"You're not going to eat me are you?" replied James.
"Heavens no." She tried to smile. "I would never eat you. You're too handsome to eat. But also you wouldn't even take the edge off my hunger."
"I guess you're right."
"But don't worry I'll die before I eat you."
Just then James noticed something in one of the trees. He looked towards it and Rose noticed that he was looking at something.
"What do you see?" asked Rose.
"There's something in that tree," replied James. "I think there's some kind of food in there."
"What where?"
"Just over there."
Rose looked and she could also see something in the tree. She took a closer look and it was one whole apple. She picked it from the tree and she looked at it. She needed to get it close to her eye so that she could see it.
"We've found something."
