As they looked outside they could see that the once mad storm was now gone. The skies had cleared up and it looked like nothing had happened. It was still extremely damp outside. Rose was the first to leave the cave and stand outside. She had her James on her shoulder and they were both amazed.
“It’s passed,” said Rose.
The others then left the cave and also went outside. No one could really believe how suddenly the storm had just come and gone. They looked up in the sky and the sun was shining. There wasn’t a single cloud in the sky.
“That’s weird,” said Gwen.
“Think it’ll be stormy again?” asked Gemma.
“I doubt it.”
“Do you think there’ll be any food lying around?”
“Hopefully.”
The giantesses then split up to look for some food. They could see other people coming out of the safety of their houses. They were glad that the storm had blown over. But they were also looking for food.
“Looks like everyone’s having a hard time,” said Charlotte.
