The rain began to come down again. The giantesses began to get worried. But only seconds after the rain started it stopped. Not enough had come down to do any damage. But it put the giantesses on high alert.
In one place Rose and her James were a little scared. James was more confused then everything. He had fought wild bears when he lived in the forest. Not much really scared him nowadays.
“Is it me or does storms last longer?” asked James.
“They normally do,” replied Rose. “The last one was too long. But this one was too short to be natural.”
“What do you think’s causing it.”
“I’m not sure.” (She doesn’t know about Dabura yet.)
“Maybe it’s just a freak event.”
“Yeah you’re right it probably is.”
Rose then began to work again. She had to pick up several trees that had fallen down on the ground. They weren’t too heavy for someone of her size and strength. She just had to move them to one side.
“Easy does it,” she said.
