She gave out a sigh of relief.
"That takes care of that," said Rose.
"I think you missed one," replied James.
"What?" She then looked to the ground and she saw one that she had missed. "Oh well better get to it."
Rose then went to pick up the tree but it seemed a lot heavier then it looked. But she was able to lift it up. But no sooner did she do this she felt a sharp pain in her hand. When she looked she had a splinter in her hand and it caused her to bleed a little. She didn't think it was much of a problem.
"James can you get this darn thing out of my hand please?" asked Rose with a smile on her face.
"Sure," replied James.
Rose then put James on the same hand as the splinter. He went towards it and tried to take it out. But for some reason it wasn't coming out. He pulled with all his strength but he couldn't do it.
