Maria and now the very tall Jean made their way to Remy's lab. It wasn't too far of a journey. If Jean was her normal size it would have taken her more than a lifetime to reach it.
The lab itself wasn't what she had expected. It was fairly small. When she walked in there were loads of paper all around the floor.
"He's kinda messy," said Jean.
"All brilliant men are," replied Maria.
Then Jean sees a man wearing a lab coat sitting by a desk. He seemed to be asleep. Maria walked up to him and gave him a slight tap on the shoulder. He then jolted awake.
"I wasn't sleeping," said Remy. "I was just resting my eyes." Then he looks around and sees Jean and Maria. "Maria honey."
"Remy." They give each other a hug. "How are you?"
"Not too bad I've nearly got a cure for the common cold. Anyway what brings you here?"
"Well I have a problem that keeps getting bigger."
"What is it?"
"Well it's my friend Jean."
"Oh so that't the beautiful woman with you."
"Anyway she's from Earth."
"What you're really from Earth?"
"Yes," replied Jean.
"But aren't Earthlings supposed to be teeny tiny?"
"Well yes but some chemicals spilt on me and I started having growth spurts."
