A little later we see Jean still at the lab. She would go somewhere else but she didn't have anywhere to go. Maria had been gone for a while. She was trying to arrange an act for her. Jean just felt her long red hair.
"I think I might need a hair cut," thought Jean. "Funny each one of my hairs could probably wrap around the Earth several times."
Then she saw Maria running towards her. She had another man with her. He seemed to look like a ringleader of some sort. Eventually they reached her.
"Hey Jean I got an act," said Maria.
"What is it?" replied Jean.
"Mr Drake here owns the local circus and he's been looking for a big new act."
"You're telling me I'm gonna be a circus freak."
"I'm sorry but it was all I could find you. There aren't many jobs for a woman of your size."
"I guess so. Where do I sign?"
"Right here," replied Mr Drake. He then hands her the contract and a pen. But they are both way too small for her.
"How am I supposed to read this or even write my signature?"
